Community comes in many forms. Whether it’s your family, street, neighborhood, church, business, or city: all forms of community are important to its members and should be respected and preserved. I have concluded over the past six years as a community and neighborhood advocate that the most important role of our City Council members is to engage their constituents and work to protect and advance their community.

Though I know it is often a difficult task, all stakeholders feel empowered knowing that they have an advocate within their government who is engaged with their community and is willing to listen and work for them. I am seasoned and ready for this task, and I ask you to support me for your City Council Representative, At Large Seat C!

Knoxvillians in support of Amy

positive review  Amy Midis is definitely my candidate of choice for Knoxville City Council's At Large Seat C. She is the full embodiment of what I envision for a member of City Council. Amy has had many successful experiences bringing neighborhoods and communities together and she has a track record to show it. I have served along side Amy on the Forest Heights Neighborhood Association Board of Directors since 2014 and love her cooperative leadership style. She is passionate about engaging community members, has open ears, and works to bring all sides together before a decision is made. Amy doesn't shy away from difficult situations but uses the opportunity to find common ground and develop a collaborative resolution. I'm sure these qualities will translate well into her role as a leader for our city. If anyone has "the Midas touch," it's definitely Amy Midis and you'll want her on your team!
